Pemba, 21 May 2021 – More than 1.2 million people urgently need health assistance in Cabo Delgado Province in northern Mozambique where recent armed attacks sparked further population displacement and deepened a protracted humanitarian crisis.

To orient and update Regional SRHR stakeholders on the WHO Consolidated Guideline on Self-Care Interventions for Health and WHO guidelines on Safe Abortion Cares, the WHO Regional Office for Africa organized two rounds of webinars on 13 – 15 April and 20- 22 April 2021. 

On the 27^th April, 2021 Ministry of Health (MOH) in collaboration with World Health Organization (WHO), held a meeting to review the first draft of the National Health Policy (NHP) and Strategic Plan (NSP) for 2021-2030 at Sunset Beach Hotel. Fifty members of the Extended Senior Health Management (SMT) team, from national and regional directorates attended the review meeting.
