Preventive chemotherapy NTDs including onchocerciasis, lymphatic filariasis, schistosomiasis, soil-transmitted helminthiases (STH), are caused by parasites or bacteria and primarily affect the most vulnerable. They can lead to disability, keep children out of school, and reduce life expectancy.
