🌍 Webinar | Listening to communities through AI for cholera response

The African Infodemic Response Alliance (AIRA) is pleased to contribute to the upcoming WHO Health Emergencies EPI-WIN webinar on:

🔎 Artificial intelligence supported listening to communities for cholera

📅 Wednesday, 6 May 2026
🕐 13:00–14:15 CEST (11:00–12:15 GMT)

As cholera outbreaks continue to affect multiple countries, understanding community perceptions, concerns and information gaps remains critical to delivering effective responses.

During this session, AIRA will share how AI-supported social listening is used to:

  • Track infodemic trends across countries
  • Identify key drivers such as trust, water and sanitation concerns, and vaccine perceptions
  • Inform evidence-based risk communication and community engagement (RCCE) strategies
  • Support countries with actionable insights and ready-to-use content

This webinar will also highlight experiences from country and regional levels, demonstrating how data-driven listening can strengthen public health responses.
