To further harmonization in the inspection of clinical trials, the African Vaccines Regulatory Forum (AVAREF) initiated the preparation of a guide for the inspection of clinical trials. This guide, primarily based on World Health Organization (WHO) and other guidelines, is the outcome of a global consultation process.
