Workshop on drug resistant tuberculosis surveillance management and reporting and recording for English speaking Countries in the WHO African region

The WHO Regional Office for Africa, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Rwanda, organizes at Kigali, Rwanda, from 30th May to 3rd June 2011, a training workshop in two sessions, the first one on the programmatic management of Drug Resistant Tuberculosis, and the second on Drug Resistance Surveys (DRS) and Drug Resistant Tuberculosis recording and reporting for Program Epidemiologists, statisticians and data managers from selected participating countries.

The participants are from 17 countries: Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Gambia, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Rwanda.
