02 March 2021 — One hundred, and twenty-five (125) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 4578 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases nineteen thousand, one hundred, and eleven (19111). To date, seventeen thousand, three hundred, and forty-two (17472) patients have recovered, including one hundred, and fifty (150) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is one thousand, three hundred, and seventy-four (1374) and two hundred, and sixty-five (265) deaths.
COVID-19 vaccines shipped by COVAX arrive in Nigeria
Abuja, 2 March 2021 - Today, Nigeria received nearly 4 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, shipped via the COVAX Facility, a partnership between CEPI, Gavi, UNICEF and WHO.
The arrival marked a historic step towards the goal to ensure equitable distribution of COVID-19 vaccines globally, in what will be the largest vaccine procurement and supply operation in history. The delivery is part of a first wave of arrivals in Nigeria that will continue in the coming days and weeks.

01 March 2021 — One hundred, and thirty-six (136) new COVID-19 cases were identified out of 3410 samples tested today. This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases eighteen thousand, nine hundred and eighty-six (18986). To date, seventeen thousand, three hundred, and twenty-two (17322) patients have recovered, including nine (9) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is one thousand, and four hundred (1400) and two hundred, and sixty-four (264) deaths.

This brings the cumulative number of confirmed cases eighteen thousand, eight hundred and fifty (18850). To date, seventeen thousand, three hundred, and thirteen (17313) patients have recovered, including six (6) in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases is one thousand, two hundred, and seventy-six (1276) and two hundred, and sixty-one (261) deaths.
