Ebola must go!

Her Excellency, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf launched the “No new cases campaign” in New Georgia Community, Montserrado County, Monrovia, Liberia. 08/12/14


President Sirleaf and entourage entered the Christ Kingdom Harvest Church, where the program was held. At the far end, the President was washing her hands in 0,05% chlorine solution.

She said that this is a nationwide campaign and there should be no new cases by the New Year (2015). “We all need to intensify our effort to travel the last mile. The disease is now in hard to reach areas and communities, we need to talk about it, speak about it and help make sure those quarantined get what they need and get well”. She encouraged all to take a pledge which reads “I citizen, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, pledge to protect myself, family, community from Ebola, that Ebola must go”.

She committed that support would be given to the community.
