World Health Day was nationally commemorated in Eritrea on April 7, 2011 under the theme, “Combat Drug Resistance: No action today, No cure tomorrow”.

Kampala, 7 April 2011-- In Uganda today, there are 150 cases of Multidrug resistant tuberculosis that have been reported in the community.
Tanzania joined other WHO Member States to commemorate WHD 2011. The occasion for the WHD this year, was marked at national level at Saba Saba ground in Morogoro Region.
