International conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa - 4-9 December 2017

The 19th International Conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa is taking place in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire from 4-9 December 2017. The conference is an opportunity to renew this global commitment by drawing the world’s attention to the fact that the legacy is now under threat as a result of the global economic downturn.

WHO is organizing a number of key session on topics such as men who have sex with men and other key populations, paediatric treatment, pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), HIV drug resistance, differentiated service delivery models, elimination of mother to child transmission of HIV.
