2025 Annual Report | WHO Kenya
The WHO Kenya Country Office 2025 Annual Report documents a year of significant progress in promoting health, strengthening systems, and protecting vulnerable populations across Kenya.
Highlighted achievements include the elimination of Human African Trypanosomiasis as a public health problem, the delivery of Kenya's largest-ever vaccination campaign reaching 16.7 million children, and the completion of the country's first mpox vaccination campaign.
Other key results include the launch of a genomic sequencing laboratory at KEMRI now serving Kenya and four neighbouring countries, the transition of over 12,400 tobacco farmers to nutritious crops under the Tobacco-Free Farms initiative, and the successful piloting of Kenya's first digital mass health campaign.
These results reflect the continued alignment of the country office with the Regional Office's strategic priorities and the strong collaboration with Kenya's Ministry of Health and partners.
