Eswatini 2024 Annual Report

In 2024, the World Health Organization (WHO) made notable progress in strengthening Eswatini’s health system and enhancing emergency preparedness. Through close collaboration with the Government and key stakeholders, WHO facilitated strategic initiatives that laid a solid foundation for achieving Universal Health Coverage and ensuring health security. Key achievements included the successful review and development of national health plans, improved health data management, and strengthened disease surveillance and response capabilities, including Mpox preparedness. Additionally, efforts to promote community engagement and mobilize resources have positioned Eswatini on a path toward a more resilient, equitable, and responsive health system, ultimately supporting better health outcomes for all its citizens.
