Dr DIALLO Abdourahmane, Director for Programme management at the WHO Regional Office for Africa, has close to 25 years of experience in the field of public health.
Until recently, he served as the WHO’s Representative to Kenya. Before this position, he was the Chief Executive Officer of the RBM Partnership to End Malaria (Rollback Malaria) in Geneva, under the United Nations Office for Project Services. Prior to that, he was the Minister of Health and Health Advisor to the President of the Republic of Guinea.
Dr. Diallo also worked extensively with the U.S. based public health organization John Snow, Inc. (JSI), where he served in various capacities, including Senior Technical Advisor, Country Director in Tanzania, and Global Technical Director for Health Systems Strengthening in Washington, DC. His contributions focused on USAID and PEPFAR-funded projects such as the USAID | DELIVER PROJECT and SCMS, helping to develop health systems, including public health supply chains across numerous countries in Africa, the Caribbean, and Asia.
