Dakar Gears up for Annual Gathering of Ministers of Health from the WHO African Region

Ministers of health from the WHO African region will meet in Dakar, Senegal for the Sixty-eighth session of the WHO Regional Committee for Africa (RC 68).

WHO: The conference will bring together more than 300 participants. Among the dignitaries attending the week-long meeting are; Dr Tedros Adhanom Gebreyesus;  the Director-General of WHO, Dr Matshidiso Moeti, the WHO Regional for Africa,  senior WHO officials,  representatives of agencies of the United Nations system, bilateral and multilateral and organizations, non-governmental organizations and high ranking officials of Ministries of Health.

During the meeting Ministers will take stock of the work of WHO, provide guidance on the proposed actions on a range of health issues facing the African Region.

WHAT: You are invited to cover all the sessions of the Regional Committee for Africa (RC 68) including the opening, plenary sessions, side events and closing ceremony,

WHERE: Main Conference Hall of the King Fahd Hotel, Dakar, Senegal.
