WHO Interventions to Support the Ebola Response in Uganda - 19 December 2022

Since the declaration of the Ebola Outbreak in Uganda on September 20, 2022, the Ministry of Health with support from WHO and partners has initiated a fully-fledged response plan to guide the country's response and preparedness to the outbreak.

Today marks 94 days of responding to the outbreak, and 22 days since the last confirmed case. 
Since the beginning of the response, 09 districts have been affected including Kagadi, Mubende, Kyegegwa, Kassanda, Bunyangabu, Kampala, Masaka, Wakiso and Jinja. The following report highlights WHO interventions in supporting the country's response.
