The WHO Botswana first quarter newsletter of 2025 marked significant progress in advancing health priorities in Botswana through strengthened collaboration with the Ministry of Health and key stakeholders. Notable developments included the launch of nationwide consultations for the National Strategic Framework 4 (NSF4), aimed at crafting a responsive and inclusive health roadmap. These efforts reflect a continued commitment to improving health outcomes and system resilience.

This period also saw the official arrival of the new WHO Representative to Botswana, reinforcing leadership and partnership in public health. Institutional efficiency was enhanced through the rollout of the Business Management System (BMS), which is set to streamline operations and promote greater accountability.
