WHO Sierra Leone Annual Report 2025

The World Health Organization Country Office in Sierra Leone has released its 2025 Annual Report, highlighting key achievements in public health response, disease control, and health systems strengthening.

The report details the successful response to the Mpox outbreak declared in January 2025, alongside continued progress in routine immunization, cervical cancer services, and HPV vaccine uptake. It also highlights WHO’s technical support to the Ministry of Health in developing major policy and strategic frameworks, including the National Health Sector Strategic Plan (2026–2030).

Despite funding challenges, WHO Sierra Leone continued to support critical health interventions and reaffirmed its commitment to working with government and partners to improve health outcomes across the country.
