WHO São Tomé and Príncipe Newsletter for the 3rd Quarter - July to September 2025
The third edition of the WHO São Tomé and Príncipe Newsletter (July-September 2025) showcases strategic strides towards a more resilient health system. Key milestones include the launch of the National Strategic Plan for Sustainable Health Financing (2025-2032), a roadmap for self-sufficiency, and intensive training for District Health Management teams to strengthen frontline leadership. The country also hosted the Central African Immunization Directors' meeting, fostering regional cooperation. Collaborative efforts with WHO AFRO advanced non-communicable disease control and updated the national malaria entomological profile to accelerate elimination efforts.
