WHO Ghana 2025 Annual Report
2025 was a pivotal year for Ghana’s health sector, marked by reforms advancing Universal Health Coverage, equity, and system resilience. In my first year as WHO Representative, we worked with national and international partners to strengthen health systems, expand access to services, and improve disease surveillance and response.
Despite challenges in global health financing and ongoing public health threats, strong collaboration across government, partners, and communities ensured continued progress. Together, these efforts are building a more resilient and people-centred health system.
WHO remains committed to supporting Ghana’s health priorities in 2026 through technical excellence, strategic partnerships, and a focus on health promotion, system strengthening, and health security.
