WHO South Africa 2024 Annual Report
The 2024 Annual Report highlights WHO South Africa’s strategic collaboration with the government, UN agencies, and development partners to advance public health and strengthen the country’s journey toward Universal Health Coverage.
Key achievements include support for the rollout of the National Health Insurance Bill, significant strides in HIV and TB response, improved maternal and child health outcomes, enhanced emergency preparedness, and advocacy for legislative health reforms. The report also reflects progress in vaccination coverage, noncommunicable disease management, and efforts to build a resilient, equitable health system.
