WHO Lesotho 2025 Annual Report
The year 2025 marked a pivotal moment for Lesotho’s health sector as steps were taken to strengthen leadership, governance, and coordination, and improve service delivery towards Universal Health Coverage (UHC). With the steadfast support of WHO and other partners, the Ministry of Health embarked on a transformative agenda underpinned by the central and lower-level institutional reforms, and the drafting of the National Health Policy (2025–2035) and the Health Sector Strategic Plan (2026–2030) is expected to be validated in the first quarter of 2026.
