Polio vaccination Campaign in Bambari-Ouaka (IPDs Site Elevage)

Bangui/Bimbo/Bambari (Centrafrica), 18 Juin 2019 - World Health Organization and United Nations Children's Fund and partners involved in the responsive vaccination campaign to eradicate polio in Bimbo District (Bangui) and Bambari (Central-Ouaka), related to polio cases virologically confirmed amongst the population. " In our efforts to reach these unprotected children, we must ensure the safety of the health workers and the volunteers," said Dr Severin von Xylander, World Health Organization (WHO) Representative for Central Africa Republic.
