Regional targets

By the end of 2013:

• All countries in the region will have completed Disaster Risk Reduction and Emergency Preparedness Plan that cover multiple hazards
• Operational surge capacity platforms will be in place at regional and sub-regional (IST) levels for activation in acute-onset emergencies
• All countries in transition will have implemented effective actions for transition and recovery in post conflict and post disaster situations
• All countries in the region will have implemented early warning system for health and re-enforced health and nutritional surveillance for emergencies based on IDSR
• All countries in crises are implementing effective Humanitarian Health cluster (IASC cluster standards).
