The Regional targets of the Programme are:
- To increase the percentage of under-fives with diarrhoea receiving oral rehydration and continued feeding from 35%-80% by the year 2010
- To increase the percentage of under-fives with suspected pneumonia taken to healthcare providers from 39% -80% by the year 2010
- To increase the percentage of children under six months exclusively breastfed from 30%-60% by the year 2010.
