Health financing policies and strategies

This component drafts health financing policies and strategies for adoption by the Regional Committee; provides guidelines for development of health financing policies and strategies; and provides technical support to countries in the development of comprehensive health financing policies and strategies.

The key achievements of this components include: Health financing: a strategy for the African Region; draft Guidelines for developing health financing policies; and support to Eritrea, Gambia, Kenya, and Nigeria in development of health financing policies.
