Immunisation and Vaccines Development

The mission of the Immunisation & Vaccines Development program is to provide technical support to the countries of the African Region in order to contribute to the reduction of morbidity, disability and mortality due to vaccine preventable diseases through achieving and sustaining high immunisation coverage, eradicating poliomyelitis, eliminating neonatal tetanus, controlling yellow fever and introducing new vaccines.
