Issues and way forward for improved sexual and reproductive health in the African Region

In line with the WHO Medium-tern strategic plan (MTSP) 2011-2015, WHO is developing an Organization-wide budget document describing WHO’s work in sexual and reproductive health. The document hereinafter is the AFRO’s contribution stressing the regional issues and challenges, and describing what actions WHO will take in the African Region to address them.
