A total of 62 079 cases and 1 246 deaths (CFR: 2.0%) reported from 22 countries.

Highlights

Between 01 January and 01 September 2012, a cu-mulative total of 62 079 cases and 1 246 deaths were reported from 22 countries ( CFR: 2.0%). The Demo-cratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Uganda, Ghana and Niger accounted for 93% of the total number of cases and 88% of the total number of deaths (Table 1, Figures 1 and 2).
