Enjoyment by all people of the African Region of an improved quality of family and reproductive life through a significant reduction in maternal, neonatal and child morbidity and mortality; promotion of healthy growth and development and improvement of reproductive health outcomes during the key stages of life.

Mission
Support countries to attain universal coverage and access of cost effective interventions to reduce morbidity and mortality and improve health outcomes during the key stages of life including pregnancy, child birth, neonatal period, childhood, adolescence and ageing.
